In India a pond goes by the name of ‘Pukhur’. It’s a fascinating little planet - a pond.
I feel a natural water body will provide better water quality than any artificial water recipe.
However in the interest of a ‘for-profit farm’ - that is methodically and deliberately growing plants at scale - a pond in itself won’t be able to suffice the demands of the farm.
And if you try to alter the water of that pond by adding anything - you’ll break the pond.
