Seeking Full-Time Aquaponics Role - Recent MS Graduate

Hello, Aquaponics Community!

I am a soon-to-be graduate (August 1) with a Master’s degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources from Tarleton State University. I am actively seeking full-time employment within the continental United States, focusing on aquaponics, hydroponics, or related sustainable agriculture fields.

About Me:

  • Three years of hands-on experience managing an aquaponics and hydroponics greenhouse, including overseeing daily operations, maintaining system health, and training new staff on protocols and best practices.
  • Experience in designing, constructing, and maintaining aquaponics and hydroponics systems.
  • Skilled in water quality management and nutrient dosing.
  • Proficient in scientific research, including evaluating alternative feed sources (BSFL and algae) for tilapia and analyzing nutrient dynamics in soilless agriculture.
  • Hands-on experience with data collection, environmental monitoring, and analysis using RStudio.
  • Strong background in public outreach, including developing STEM curriculum and presenting at conferences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate on interdisciplinary projects

Hello Emma, I will send an email this week. I would like to talk to you about a proposal for an aquaponics project in Massachusetts. It is a worker owned cooperative and has excellent scaling opportunities. We have some funding available but are trying to build a team to secure more funds. Ben
