The Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) and Northeast Center to Advance Food Safety (NECAFS) would like to understand the costs and the barriers of beginning or expanding food safety practices on farms and in packinghouses nationwide to make educational materials more relevant to fruit and vegetable growers and packers.
This data will inform the development of educational materials and training programs to support fruit and vegetable growers as they implement produce safety practices. When possible, the data will be compared to previously collected data in order to determine how things are changing, where progress has been made, and where challenges still exist. Individual grower responses are anonymous and confidential, to be reported in aggregate.
The survey should take about 10-20 minutes to complete, and is available in both Spanish and English! Your participation is anonymous and no identifying information will be collected. Any questions that are not relevant to your operation can be skipped. The survey will be open until June 1.
