Aquaponics in Elementary Schools

I am a fourth grade teacher in Harris County, Georgia, and our students are currently working toward STEAM certification. Our school has several small aquaponics tanks in classrooms and one large tank in our main department.

We are looking for aquaponics experts who would be willing to connect with our students via Zoom or Teams. We are particularly interested in learning:

  • How to sustain and maintain an aquaponics system effectively

  • Ways to engage with our community using the herbs and produce our students grow

If you have experience in aquaponics and would be interested in sharing your knowledge with our students, we would love to hear from you!

I am a new Filipino immigrant who currently teaches regenerative aquaponics in New York with Mi Oh My Hydroponics Farm. Our vision is to create the new generation of urban farmers - my personal mission statement. Have been into aquaponics since 1998.
